First Plus Leave Broker Homeowner Loans Market

Barclays Bank today announced that its prime lender First Plus will be withdrawn from the broker loan market. Bad news for homeowners.

First Plus was always seen as the "Platinum Product" when it came to Secured Homeowner Loans. It leaving the broker loan market is further evidence of the nervousness of financial instituition in this credit crunch and can only increase fears or recession.
